Share your availability early so we can match you thoughtfully
-
Expect to be matched with up to 3 mentees
Q: How much time do I need to commit?
A: About 4–5 hours total over the 10 weeks. The schedule is flexible and coordinated with your availability.
Q: Do I get support or training?
A: Yes! Ongoing check-ins with mentor coordinators. If needed, you can also schedule time directly with Andrea for additional support.
Q: What if I’m traveling or unavailable one week?
A: That’s totally okay — just make sure to communicate with your mentees in advance. If needed, you can redirect them to another mentor for support during your absence.
📌 If you’ll be unavailable for more than 10 days, we kindly ask that you apply for the next cohort instead.
Q: What if my mentee doesn’t respond?
A: You’ll never be alone! We’ll step in to help and re-engage participants if needed. Mentor coordinators will always be available for support.
Q: Can I choose how many mentees I take?
A: We try to match mentors with 3 mentees max, but if you’d prefer 1 or 2, just let us know in the form.
Q: What kinds of participants will I be mentoring?
A: Young women and nonbinary youth (ages 14–21) from across the U.S. and Latin America — all are selected based on motivation and potential, not perfection.
Q: Do I need to know how to code or build websites?
A: Nope! You don’t need any technical or design skills to be a mentor. Your role is to help your mentees craft a strong personal narrative, recognize their strengths, and, when possible, connect them with inspiring professionals in your network who can open doors or offer guidance.
This program is about amplifying voices and building confidence — not perfect websites.
